Michael Patrick Vaughn is a sociologist and witch with a lifelong obsession with queerness, identity, trauma, and the fragility of memory. Michael's research has run the gamut, from clinical to social to psychological to cultural, and looping back around to clinical again. She currently works as a User Experience Researcher, informing how digital products are built and could be built. In the past, she has identified herself as a social scientist (PhD in Sociology and Gender & Sexualities Studies), and before that a social worker, and before that a shop girl and a wild child, and before that a junior playwright. She is currently re-discovering her identity through creative nonfiction writing. Stay tuned for the exciting conclusion!
